Restaurant Spotlight 🍽

Myles and Jun Yakitori is a Japanese char-grill restaurant located on Bacons Bridge Road in Summerville. The concept centers on yakitori, which are skewers of chicken, beef, seafood, or vegetables cooked over a charcoal grill. The menu also includes ramen, rice bowls, dumplings, and other Japanese-inspired dishes, making it easy to build a meal that works for groups or solo diners.
The restaurant was started by Chef Jun and Mamu, who wanted to bring a traditional yakitori grill to the Lowcountry. It’s designed to be casual and approachable, with a mix of skewers and shareable plates alongside full entrées. Guests can order a few skewers as an appetizer, or combine them with ramen or rice dishes for something more filling.

Drinks include sake, beer, and wine, and the restaurant has become known for its sake sangria. The setup makes it easy to pair lighter plates with a drink or two without feeling like you need to order a full spread.
Hours run Monday through Thursday from 4–9PM, and Friday and Saturday until 10 PM. Reservations are available on busier nights, though walk-ins are common during the week.
For anyone looking for a straightforward introduction to Japanese char-grill cooking, Myles and Jun Yakitori offers a great option close to home!
