Restaurant Spotlight

Burnin 99 has opened a new spot in Summerville, and it’s already drawing a crowd. The restaurant blends Korean BBQ and Chinese hot pot, letting you cook your own meal right at the table.
Here’s the setup: pick a broth for hot pot or go with the BBQ grill, then choose from a wide spread of meats, veggies, noodles, and sauces. With over 40 ingredients to try, there’s no shortage of combos. If it’s your first time, don’t worry—the staff are quick to walk you through it.

The price is $39.99 for adults, which covers all-you-can-eat hot pot and BBQ. The key is to arrive hungry and pace yourself—it’s easy to fill up fast on appetizers or the first round of meat.
A few tips from regulars: start with a lighter broth so you can taste more of the add-ins, don’t skip the dipping sauce bar (you can mix your own blends), and try a little of both BBQ and hot pot so you get the full experience.

You’ll find Burnin 99 at 109 Grandview Drive. The space is casual and roomy, making it a good pick for families, groups, or even a weeknight dinner when you want something different.
