Friday, October 31st

• 4th Annual Cane Bay Halloween Festival 🎃 | 251 Firewheel Ct: join DJ Marquis Stylez for the 4th Annual Cane Bay Halloween Block Party from 6-9PM. There will be a live DJ, food & drinks, and plenty of good vibes!

• Mad Hatter Gala 🎩 | La Chev 208: step into Wonderland for a night of cocktails, food, and pure madness at La Chev 208’s Halloween bash! Their backyard will transform into a whimsical world full of color, characters, and curiosity from 6-10PM. The winner of their best costume contest will get a $100 gift card!

• Halloween Party 👻 | Gabel Martial Arts: bring your friends, wear your favorite costume, and join the spooky fun! From 4:30-6PM, there will be music, costumes, and games. There is no entry fee for this event.

• Family Fall Festival 🍂 | Summerville Family Worship Center: starting at 6PM, this event will feature a trunk or treat, cake walk, corn hole, inflatables, hayride, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones, food and more!

• Annual Halloween Party & Costume Contest 💀 | Montreux Bar & Grill: starting at 10PM, there will be DJ's on both stages, and judgement for the contest is at Midnight, with $500 in cash prizes handed out to the winners!

Live Music 🎸:

• Jack Triebold | Top Dawg Tavern: Jack is a talented singer and guitarist who plays all of your favorites from pop/rock to country, club/dance covers to instrumental and classical! He will be playing on the patio from 8-11PM.

• Bottom of the Hour | Bolts and Brews Beer Garden: Bottom of the Hour is a Charleston area cover band featuring unique versions of the best songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today! They will be playing in the garden from 4:30-7:30PM.

• Artist TBA | Wine & Tapas Bar: 7-10PM

Saturday, November 1st

• Community Yard Sale 🏷 | Ashborough Subdivision (109 Ashborough Ave): there will be multiple yard sales in the Ashborough Neighborhood from 8AM-12PM!

• Summerville Knockout Self-Care Fair 🥊 | TITLE Boxing Club: start the day with a 1-hour community workout featuring 5 local coaches: Boxing, Yoga, Barre, Strength & Conditioning, and Functional Training. Explore 30+ wellness vendors, raffles, giveaways, and local food trucks. This event starts at 12PM and tickets are $15, with all ticket proceeds benefiting Dorchester Paws Animal Shelter!

• Vintage Truck Christmas Card Sessions 🎄 | Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site: Christmas Card sessions are back this year featuring the red vintage truck Beau! These mini sessions come with a minimum of 10 images that you receive back within 72 hours. The cost is $75 and there are various time slots still available, so make sure you click on the event title above and reserve your spot before they sell out!

• "Truck and Tree" Paint & Sip 🎨 | Bolts and Brews Beer Garden: the Cost for this paint & sip is $35 for a 12x16 canvas or $40 for a round hanger. This includes all supplies and step-by-step instructions. This class starts at 1PM, beginners are welcome and all painters leave with a finished painting!

• Jason Ayers | Montreux Bar and Grill: Jason is a modern troubadour, bridging the gap between classic sounds and contemporary vibes with a unique ability to connect across genres and generations. He will be playing on the front stage starting at 2PM.

• TNT Duo | Montreux Bar and Grill: The TNT Duo consists of 2 members from Charleston’s hit rock band, OldSoul: Tristan and Toni. They will be playing on the patio starting at 6PM.

• Soul Fish | Montreux Bar and Grill: Soul Fish has been performing for audiences all across the East Coast for over 20 years, and continues to keep their audiences captivated with their “all request” shows, extensive song list and wide range of song genres including rock, pop, beach and Motown, just to name a few. They will be playing on the main stage starting at 10PM.

Sunday, November 2nd

• Sunday Pop-Up Market 🌽 | Tractor Supply (Dorchester Rd): this pop-up market features local vendors & food trucks, and will have a special guest this week - Cabrera’s Critter’s! Cabrera’s Critters will be on-site with a free petting zoo from 10AM-2PM.

• Free Clothing Giveaway 👕 | YMCA Summerville (Downtown): everyone is welcome at this event by Hope Church! Enjoy free shopping through their many donations of clean clothes. All sizes of babies, kids, men's, and women's clothes are available. This event runs from 2-4PM, and you do not need to be a YMCA member to attend the event.

• Live Music: Time Pirates 🏴‍☠️ | Montreux Bar and Grill: The Time Pirates are an acoustic act that plunders through time to cover favorites from the ‘50s to the present, bringing tight harmonies and good music! They will be playing on the patio starting at 4PM.

Meet Bella Roo, the 4-year-old pit mix who is currently being fostered through Dorchester Paws!

From Dorchester Paws:

“Hi, I’m Bella Roo! 🐾 I was rescued when I needed it most, and my amazing foster dad gave me my full name, Bella Roo! I’ll happily answer to Bella, Roo, or the whole thing, because I’m super smart.

I’m what you might call a professional shadow. If you’re around, I want to be too! I’m still learning that being alone isn’t so bad, but I’d much rather be by your side (or snuggled right up to you). I love chew toys, walks, and meeting new people — seriously, everyone’s a friend in my book. I’m great on leash, know “sit” and “leave it,” and am working on my “place” command when I need to relax.

I get along well with other dogs, and while I’m curious about cats and squirrels, I’m polite about it. My foster dad says I’m a wonderful, loyal girl who deserves a family with time, patience, and lots of love. If you think we’d be the perfect match, I’d love to meet you and let’s start our next chapter together! ❤️”
