Where to Invest $100,000 Right Now, According to Experts

Investors face a dilemma. When the S&P 500 finished its worst quarter since 2022 last month, diversifiers like bonds and bitcoin fell too.

Even with the turnaround in mid-April, analysts at Goldman Sachs and Vanguard have projected low-single-digit annualized returns from 2024-2034.

Bloomberg asked where experts would personally invest $100,000 for their March monthly edition.

One answer that surfaced for a second time? Art.

It's what billionaires like Bezos and the Rockefellers have privately used to diversify for decades.

Why?

  1. Appreciation. The ArtPrice100 Index outpaced the S&P 500 overall from 2000 to 2025

  2. Low-correlation. The postwar contemporary segment has moved independently of traditional investments like stocks since ‘95.*

  3. Resilience. A scarce, physical, and global asset class with decades of demonstrated demand.

Thanks to the world's premier art investing platform, now anyone can invest in works featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, without needing millions.

Shares in new offerings can sell quickly but...

Restaurant Spotlight

If you’ve spent any time around Cane Bay, there’s a good chance you’ve driven past Rio Chico Mexican Restaurant - Summerville and seen the parking lot packed on a random Tuesday night. After eating there, it makes sense why.

The menu is massive in the way a good neighborhood Mexican restaurant menu should be. You’ve got the expected fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, tacos, and combo plates, but there’s also enough variety that you can keep coming back without ordering the same thing every time.

The birria section is one of the standouts. The quesabirria comes loaded with slow-cooked beef and enough melted cheese to require a strategic game plan before the first bite. The birria pizza is basically two tortillas pressed together with cheese and beef in between, served with consommé on the side.

Their fajitas also deserve mention because they come out exactly how you want fajitas to arrive: loud, sizzling, and turning every nearby table’s head for two seconds. The Parrilla Mexicana piles together steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo, and carnitas onto one skillet, while the Río Chico Rice somehow manages to cover steak, chicken, shrimp, vegetables, rice, and queso all in one plate.

One thing Rio Chico does well is balancing the American-style Mexican restaurant staples with some dishes that lean a little more traditional. You’ll find lengua tacos, carnitas, ceviche, caldo de mariscos, and huevos con chorizo sitting right next to chimichangas and queso-covered combo platters. Pro tip, if you like spicy - ask for the habanero salsa.
