Restaurant Spotlight

Kairos Mediterranean has become one of those easy go-to spots when you want something quick that doesn’t leave you feeling like you just ate a brick for lunch. The concept is simple: build your own bowl, pita, or salad, pick your toppings and sauces, and they’ll load it up right in front of you. But compared to a lot of fast-casual places, the ingredients actually taste fresh.
The bowls are probably the main attraction. You start with rice, greens, or lentils, then add proteins like chicken, lamb, steak, or falafel. From there, it’s basically a dangerous amount of toppings. Hummus, cucumber tomato salad, feta, pickled onions, olives, roasted vegetables, and spicy sauces. The lamb and chicken are both solid, but the sauces really pull everything together.

The pitas are worth ordering too, especially if you want something a little messier. The Street Pita is packed with chicken, fries, feta, cucumber salad, and tzatziki stuffed into warm pita bread. It’s the kind of meal where halfway through you realize you should’ve grabbed extra napkins. Their feta fries are also surprisingly good and feel like something you end up ordering every time once you’ve had them once. Food comes out fast, portions are generous, and it’s one of the better options in Summerville when you want something that feels fresh but still filling.
Featured Pup of the Week: Leon 🐶
Meet Leon, the 6-year-old pitbull who has been at Dorchester Paws for almost 6 months now!

From Dorchester Paws:
“Leon is still waiting patiently for his forever home❤️
He’s almost 6 years old now and has spent the last 6 months at the shelter waiting for someone to give him a chance. While kennel life can be stressful, Leon truly shines once he gets out and about on his doggie dates.
He already knows how to sit, lay down, and give paw!! He absolutely LOVES people! He can be a bit energetic, but it’s only because he’s so excited to see everyone and the world around him☺️
More than anything, Leon is ready for a home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and be someone’s best friend. Dorchester Paws would love nothing more than to see this handsome fella walk out the doors with his forever family💙💛”
