• Speed Dating “Lucky Me” 💘 | Luxe Bar & Bistro: if you're a single woman between the ages of 45 and 59 and looking for single men, this event is perfect for you. The event runs from 6-8PM and the cost is $30.

• March Books & Banter Book Club: Three Days in June by Anne Tyler 📚 | Main Street Reads: Main Street Reads’ book clubs are free and open to all, and the book club pick is 10% off the regular price. You bring the conversation, they’ll provide the treats! This book club runs from 6:30-8PM.

• Beetlejuice The Musical 🎶 | North Charleston Coliseum: this musical will run from March 25th through March 30th, with one show per day (showtime varies). The first show kicks off at 7:30PM and tickets start at $45.

Wednesday, March 26th

• Corks and Cows Paint & Sip 🎨 | The Tavern at Harris Teeter Nexton: $35 includes all supplies and step-by-step instructions. Beginners welcome and all painters leave with a finished painting. This event starts at 6PM.

• Intro Class to Goats & Chickens 🐓 | Flowertown Charm Farm: want to homestead with goats and chickens but don't know where to start? This class will teach you all the basics from 10AM-12PM. Tickets are $50 for adults & $20 for children.

• Book Tasting For Kids 📚 | Summerville Library: intended for children ages 6-11, to sample a new genre or even learn what a genre is! This free event runs from 6-7PM.

• Live Music: Joe Wheaton 🎸 | Top Dawg Tavern: Joe plays a little bit of everything with a focus on acoustic rock, Americana folk and some fun alternative covers! He will be playing from 7-10PM.

Thursday, March 27th

• Keith Harkin "St.Paddies Tour" ☘️ | 319 Silent Bluff Dr: from 6:30-9:30PM, Keith will be playing songs from his just released Irish record & a bunch of the Celtic Thunder material. The all inclusive tickets cost $100 and include: concert, meet & greet, a photo with Keith, Q&A session, and merch signing after the show.

• Bingo with Big Tone 🍻 | Bolts and Brews Beer Garden: enjoy an exciting evening of beer, bingo, and fantastic prizes. They’re giving away Bolts & Brews merch, Ace Hardware gift cards, and beautiful plants from our greenhouse! This event starts at 6PM.

• “Her Hair” Paint & Sip 🎨 | Wine and Tapas Bar: $40 includes all supplies & Instructions, and this event starts at 6:30PM.

• Free Shred Event 📄 | North Charleston Coliseum: the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs and Shred360 are teaming up for a free shred event. The shred event is set up as a drive-through to help you shred your sensitive documents in a timely manner. Attendees are encouraged to stay in their vehicles and are limited to three boxes. This event runs from 11AM-2PM.

Friday, March 28th

• Sicard Hollow 🪕 | Givhans Ferry State Park (Ridgeville): this concert is part of the 2025 Charleston Bluegrass Festival and starts at 5PM.

• Author Event with Patti Callahan Henry and Mary Alice Monroe ✍️ | The Timrod Library: Patti and Mary Alice will be in conversation about Patti's new book “The Story She Left Behind.” The cost for this event is $40 for non-members, and it starts at 7PM.

• Building Dreams BBQ Bash 🍗 | Central Creek Park (Goose Creek): from 6:30- 9:00PM, Berkeley County Habitat for Humanity invites you to enjoy a barbecue buffet from Swig and Swine, along with live music, silent auction items, and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the future homeowners on Hutchinson Lane! Adult tickets are $55, which includes BBQ, sides, and 2 drink tickets.

Live Music:

• Jared Petteys & The Headliners | Tiki Taco: this band will be playing high energy Rock n Roll, starting at 7PM.

• OldSoul | Montreux Bar and Grill: This Rock n Roll group took off just a week after starting and has been playing shows every single week since early 2021. They will be playing their originals & rocking your favorite covers, starting at 10PM.

• Mike Freund | Top Dawg Tavern: Mike is a talented American Blues Rock singer/songwriter, guitarist, and recording artist. He will be playing on the patio from 8-11PM.

• Michael Duff | Bolts and Brews Beer Garden: Michael performs all around the Charleston area doing solo performances as well as in duo/trio/full band configurations. He will be playing from 4:30-7:30PM and will be joined by Slabbz Smashin' Patties food truck.

Saturday, March 29th

• The Saturday Night Comedy Show 🎤 | Frothy Beard Off World: Comic Life Productions is putting on a comedy show featuring some of the best comics from Charleston & Savannah, starting at 8PM. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Check out our instagram for a recap of their latest show at Frothy Beard!

• Tool Time Comedy: Laughs & Lagers 🍻 | Bolts and Brews Beer Garden: get ready to laugh your socks off while sipping on cold brews in a unique setting. Enjoy the comedy stylings of Jas Gill and Will C, starting at 7PM. Tickets for this show are $20.

• Sketch Summerville ✍️ | Linwood Gardens: sketch with pencil, ink, watercolors or whatever you like best. Bring your chosen media and meet other people interested in sketching in Summerville. Tickets for this event are $5, and it will run from 12-3PM.

• NAW Adoption Event 🦮 | PetSmart Summerville: Dorchester Paws will be participating in PetSmart’s National Adoption Week with an adoption event at PetSmart in Azalea Square. Come meet their adoptable dogs from 12-3PM!

• “Hang in There” 🧵 | People Places & Quilts: in this sewing class, Sue Runnerstrom will be showing you how to make perfect 6” log cabin blocks. The cost for this class is $24 and will run from 10:30AM-1:30PM.

• Title Boxing Club Pop Up 🥊 | The Pickle Bar: this free Title Boxing event starts at 11AM and will consist of 45 minutes of boxing, bodyweight exercises & fun! There are limited spots so make sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible if you are interested in attending.

• Morning Octane Monthly Event (Car Show) 🏎️ | Jax Wax Summerville: get those rides ready and head on down to Jax Wax at 2885 West Fifth N Street in Summerville. All are welcome - Cars, Trucks, Bikes, New School & Old School. The event will run from 9am-12pm, featuring a live DJ, product demos, and exclusive promotions. There will be complimentary donuts while they last, so you’re gonna want to get there early!

Sunday, March 30th

• Spring Market 🌸 | Cool Blow Farms: browse and shop products from local artists and artisans in Summerville from 1-4PM.

• Young Entrepreneurs Market 📈 | The Knot Burger Pub: join The Knot for their second Young "Knotrepreneur" Market, where budding entrepreneurs will showcase their unique creations and fresh ideas! This event will run from 11AM-3PM.

• 5th Annual West Ashley Family Festival 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 | Magnolia Hall @The School House (West Ashley): several West Ashley businesses will be in attendance highlighting their products and services, followed by music, arts, crafts, food, spirits and lots of fun for the entire family. Early bird tickets are $15 and the event will run from 2-6PM.

• F.A.S.T. Car Show and Automotive Tradeshow 🏎 | North Charleston Coliseum: Charleston’s premier 80,000 square foot indoor automotive event. Featuring custom never seen builds, SEMA cars, vendors, giveaways, raffles, Dj Verno, concession stand, VIP area and a special Guest. This event starts at 11AM, and tickets are $20.

Meet Irving, the 11-month-old terrier mix who has been at Dorchester Paws since early February!

“If you’re looking for a pup who loves everyone, Irving is your guy! At just 11 months old, this happy, tail-wagging, body-wiggling goofball gets SO excited to meet every dog friend he sees. 🐾

Irving is gentle, funny, and a little confused about why he’s still here. The shelter isn’t the place for a puppy like him—he thrives on companionship, whether it’s with people or pups! The busy adoption floor was stressful for him, so he’s now chilling in a more zen spot while he waits for his perfect family.
