Restaurant Spotlight

Last week, we had the pleasure of trying LPC Kitchen for the first time. We had heard nothing but great things about LPC Kitchen, and it definitely lived up to the hype!
Peter Lombardi, founder of LPC Kitchen, grew up in New Jersey and developed a passion for Italian cuisine after visiting Naples, where he trained with master pizza chef Enzo Coccia. Upon his return, he launched Lombardi Pizza Company in 2011, initially using a mobile wood-fired oven to serve authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas across New Jersey.
He then expanded to a location in Martinsville, NJ, in 2013, where he met his wife Pauline, and together they built LPC to gain a loyal following of pizza evangelists and regulars. After a decade, they visited and fell in love with Charleston, and lucky for all of us who live here, they decided to open up a restaurant in Summerville!
LPC offers a variety of classic Italian dishes, as well as delicious smash burgers, and they even have a cereal bar, where you can get an ice cream or milkshake with your favorite cereal mixed in.
This is the perfect place for date night, and as they say, they are “bringing downtown date night uptown!”
We tried many of their delicious menu items, including pizza, house made pasta dishes, a smash burger, a brussels salad, and we even tried their cinnamon dough knots & ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to go back, and if you’re reading this hungry, you definitely won’t want to watch our video from LPC below ⬇️
Featured Pup of the Week: Gordy
Meet Gordy, the 10-year-old hound mix, who is a current resident at Dorchester Paws Animal Shelter!
From Dorchester Paws:
“Ten years. That’s approximately how long Gordy has been the best boy. ❤️ This sweet senior hound has spent most of his life knowing love and in his golden years he’s waiting for a home to call his own again.
Gordy is gentle, curious, and full of heart—some might say he lives in his own little world where everything is just right. He’s great with other dogs, walks beautifully on a leash, and will greet any friendly stranger with his soulful, eyeliner-framed eyes. And if you have snacks? You’ve got a best friend for life.
He may have a little gray on his face, but his heart is as young as ever. Gordy deserves to spend his golden years in comfort, with a soft bed and a family to love him.”
