Restaurant Spotlight

Summerville has no shortage of good lunch spots, coffee shops, and dessert places, but The Crepe Lab brings something a little different to the mix.
Located at 416 Old Trolley Road, The Crepe Lab is a locally owned spot serving made-to-order crepes, with both sweet and savory options on the menu. The shop has only been open for a few months, but it’s already getting plenty of attention.

They have the classic sweet crepes you’d expect, with fruit, chocolate, whipped cream, and all the good stuff. But The Crepe Lab isn’t just a dessert stop.
They also have savory crepes, which makes it a solid option for lunch or a casual bite during the day. Everything is made fresh when you order, and you can see the crepes being made at the counter. That matters because crepes are one of those foods that are best when they’re fresh, warm, and folded up right in front of you.

The menu also has some gluten-free and allergy-friendly options, including a gluten-free crepe base that is also dairy-free and egg-free. It’s not another chain, and it’s not trying to be overly fancy. It’s just a fun, fresh spot for a sweet treat, a casual lunch, or a quick stop when you want something different.
So next time you’re near Old Trolley Road and craving something sweet, The Crepe Lab is worth adding to your list.
Featured Pup of the Week: Stetson 🐶
Say hello to Stetson, who was a featured pup of the week back in March! Stetson is currently in a foster and still looking for his forever home!

From Dorchester Paws:
“At 4 years old, Stetson is the perfect combination of playful adventure buddy and oversized cuddle bug. In fact, his foster family calls him "Clifford the Big Red Dog" because of his big heart❤
Stetson is sweet, affectionate, and loves meeting new people. He is more than happy to curl up beside you for some quality snuggle time. He would do best with older children and would likely thrive in a home with another dog he can play with! He absolutely adores his foster brother, and the two can often be found playing together or cuddling up for a nap💤
This handsome guy has also lived with cats before and had no issues, making him a great fit for many different types of homes. He's reliably house trained, crate trained, and rides like a pro in the car with his doggie seat belt!
Stetson is a smart boy who loves to learn! He already knows sit, down, and come, and he's currently working on perfecting his stay command. With his eagerness to learn and his loving personality, he's sure to make an incredible companion for a lucky family.
If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a playful spirit and a heart as big as he is, Stetson is ready to meet you💙💛”
