• Paint & Sip 🎨 | Dog & Duck (Moncks Corner): join Heather from Art by Heather for a fun filled paint and sip at Dog & Duck in Moncks Corner. This event runs from 6:30-9:30PM and tickets are $35.

• Live Music: Brandon Lamar Simmons 🎸 | Top Dawg Tavern: Brandon is a singer/songwriter, guitarist and drummer who plays some of your favorite tunes in a wide variety including Rock, R&B, Motown, Soul and Pop! He will be playing on the patio from 7-10PM.

Thursday, January 8th

• Crushed Glass and Resin Workshop 🛠 | Wine & Tapas Bar: a creative and hands-on workshop where you’ll craft a beautiful suncatcher using crushed glass and resin. This class starts at 6PM and tickets are $65.

• Survey Says Game Night 🎯 | Tiki Taco: MindgameZ is hosting their own spin on Family Feud, called Survey Says. Winners will receive $10, $20, or $30 in-house cash. This event runs from 7:15-9PM.

• CPR/BLS Course ⛑ | The Trolley Room: ready to learn CPR and actually enjoy it? Join The Realm Group for an upbeat, hands-on CPR class led by an energetic, experienced instructor who knows how to keep you engaged while teaching life-saving skills! • Cozy Crafternoon - Journal Decorating 📔 | Rollins Edwards Community Center: whether you're a journaling pro or a beginner, this is the perfect craft to help you with your new year goals. Summerville Parks & Rec will provide the paint, glitter, markers, stickers, and a place to get messy; you bring your creativity! The cost is $15, and you can book your one hour time slot between 4-7PM by clicking on the event title above.

• Friday Night Crop ✂️ | YO’s Crafty Place: for those of you that have never attended a "crop", this is when scrapbookers get together to work on their various projects. Some scrapbook, some card make, some sew, knit, crochet, paint, craft, just hang out, and enjoy being with old friends and new friends. This event runs from 6PM-Midnight and the cost is $10.

• Glow Night 🌟 | Miller’s at Carnes: Miller’s is brining the DJ, glow wands and necklaces, you bring the crew! This event starts at 9PM.

• Goose Creek Co-Ed Adult Volleyball League 🏐 | Goose Creek Recreation: this is an adult 8-week volleyball league starting January 9 and running through February 27. Register as a team (min 6 per team) or sign up as an individual and they can place you to a team. The cost is $50 per player, and all players must be over 18.

• Lane Doss | Top Dawg Tavern: Lane's music catalog includes mainly 70-90's classic hits and he plays several instruments. He will be playing on the patio from 8-11PM.

• Jordyn Ross | Montreux Bar and Grill: Jordyn is an up and coming musician from right here in Summerville! She will be playing on the front stage starting at 2PM.

• Kyle Herring | Montreux Bar and Grill: with his smooth and soulful tones and vocal flexibility, Kyle has created music that listeners everywhere can feel. He will be playing on the patio starting at 6PM.

• Justin Wideman | Sapphire’s (Goose Creek): Justin is a singer/songwriter from South Alabama. He will be playing at Sapphire’s from 6-9PM.

Saturday, January 10th

• Winter Soccer Fun ⚽️ | Carnes Crossroads: each session consists of a "Storytime with a Soccer Ball" creative, active, skill building warm up directly followed by a fun small sided soccer game or kick around! This 5 week program is for boys and girls ages 2-6, and takes place every Saturday morning between 9:30-11:45AM (specific time slots broken down by age group). The cost is $109, which includes professional coaching, field rental, numbered jerseys, an epic end of season medal and 5 weeks of soccer fun with Bob the Soccer Ball!

• Brody Hopkins Autograph Signing ✍️ | Palmetto Sportscards and Collectables: Brody Hopkins, Summerville HS Alum and top pitching prospect in the Tampa Bay Rays System, will be signing autographs from 12-4PM! The cost is $10 per autograph, and there will be complimentary food for customers.

• Author Book Signing 📚 | Love Spell Books: Love Spell Books is hosting a book signing with local Author Marissa Durham from 12-4PM. Tickets are $20, which includes: a signed copy of Back to Reality, a Q&A session, pictures with the author, games & prizes!

• Auditions - Anthropology by Lauren Gunderson 🎬 | The Old Trolley Theatre: anthropology is a new play from Lauren Gunderson, one of the most-produced living playwrights. • The Novatones | Montreux Bar and Grill: The Novatones play everything from the ’60s to today, mixing classic favorites with modern hits so there’s something for everyone to dance to. They will be playing on the main stage starting at 10PM.

• Mac Calhoun | Wine & Tapas Bar: Mac Calhoun is local musician who has spent the last few years playing live music full time in Key West. He will be playing from 7-10PM.

Sunday, January 11th

• Ultimate Book Launch & Signing ✍️ | Flowertown Players Theatre: an enchanting afternoon with bestselling author Jennifer Moorman in conversation with local favorite Dorothy McFalls — they’re talking magical realism, libraries come alive, and a cozy reception to follow! This event starts at 3:30PM and tickets are $35, which includes: a charcuterie reception, a signed hardcover of The Charmed Library, and 10% off Jennifer Moorman and Dorothy McFalls titles.

• Comfort Classics Brunch 🥞 | Gracious Retirement Living (Ages 55+): a masterful blend of both high-quality ingredients and service, this brunch features fabulous classic fare from Gracious Retirement Living’s chef and the company of their friendly residents and team members. Restaurant Spotlight

Cielo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila is a newer addition to the Summerville dining scene, offering a modern take on Mexican food with a full tequila and cocktail menu. The concept comes from restaurateurs with roots in Jalisco, Mexico, which shows up in both the menu and drink offerings.

The menu mixes familiar staples with some less common dishes. Alongside tacos, enchiladas, and burritos, you’ll also see items like coconut ceviche, octopus tacos, and birria-inspired plates. Proteins range from carnitas and steak to chicken and seafood, with sauces and toppings that lean more traditional than Tex-Mex.

Drinks are a big part of the experience here. Cielo carries a wide selection of tequila and mezcal, plus margaritas and other cocktails built around them. It’s a solid option if you’re looking for a place where the bar menu goes beyond the basics.

The space itself is clean and modern, with an open layout that works for small groups, casual dinners, or sitting at the bar. As with many newer restaurants, there may be a wait during busy times, but the overall experience is relaxed and easygoing.

If you’re looking to mix up your usual Mexican food rotation, Cielo is worth checking out—especially if tequila-forward cocktails are your thing.
