• 4 Week Pottery Class 🏺 | Iris & Stone Pottery Studio: this course welcomes everyone from complete beginners to intermediate students who want to expand their skills and explore new clay techniques and creations. Over four weekly sessions, classes will be divided between handbuilding and pottery wheel work. Students will learn handbuilding methods such as pinch, coil, and slab construction, then spend the remaining time on the wheel. The final session will be dedicated to glazing finished pieces. The classes will run from 6-8PM and the cost for the 4 week course is $275.

• Feathers and Fine Wine Paint & Sip 🎨 | The Tavern at Nexton Harris Teeter: join Brushes Up for a fun Cardinal Paint & Sip night at The Tavern at Your Nexton Harris Teeter starting at 6PM! You’ll paint a beautiful cardinal on a 12x16 canvas with easy, step-by-step instruction—perfect for beginners or experienced painters who just want a relaxing night out. Tickets are $35.

• All You Can Eat Wings 🍗 | Miller’s at Carnes: from 11AM-2PM, you can get unlimited wings and two sides for just $15!

• Live Music: David Grunstra 🎸 | Top Dawg Tavern: David Grunstra is a very popular local musician, singer/songwriter and guitarist who plays Blues, Alt Country, Classic Rock and more! He will be playing on the patio from 7-10PM.

Thursday, January 29th

• Public Meeting: US 176 Widening Project Phase 2 🚧 | Cane Bay High School: Berkeley County will host a drop-in public information meeting for the U.S. 176 Widening Project Phase 2. The project consists of widening U.S. 176 from two to four lanes from Nexton Parkway to Jedburg Road, with turn lanes at the intersections. This meeting will take place in the cafeteria inside of Cane Bay High School from 5:30-7:30PM.

• Collective Conversations: Peptides 👩‍⚕️ | Collective Wellness of Summerville: this gathering is all about learning and clarity. They’ll break down what peptides are, how they work in the body, common peptides and their uses, safety considerations, and how peptide therapy is offered through a telehealth platform. Whether you’re completely new to peptides or simply looking to expand your knowledge, this is a relaxed and supportive environment where questions are encouraged and education comes first. This event runs from 6-8PM.

• Thursday Night Trivia 🧠 | Miller’s at Carnes: bring your team & join Miller’s at Carnes for their first trivia night starting at 7PM! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

• Jack Triebold | The Tavern at Nexton Harris Teeter: Jack is a talented singer and guitarist who plays all of your favorites from pop/rock to country, club/dance covers to instrumental and classical! He will be playing from 5-8PM.

• Josh Mitchum | Global Pizza: local musician, songwriter, and guitarist Josh Mitchum will be playing at Global Pizza inside of Godwins Beer Hall from 6-8PM.

Friday, January 30th

• Swap Til You Drop ♻️ | Summerville Baptist: this event is for all ladies and they are opening it up to girl tweens & teens to enjoy with their moms/grandmothers this time! Have a gently used cute top that no longer fits, or do you never wear it (all sizes are welcome)? A dress you love but need to thin out your closet? A fun serving tray you have no use for? The perfume you tried a few times, but the smell is not your favorite? You get the idea! Please bring 7-15 items per person. You will be divided into teams (after a trivia game to see what team goes first) and take timed rounds of "shopping" and eating treats! This event starts at 5:30PM.

• Disney Trivia 🧠 | High Score Brewing (North Charleston): think you know your Disney deep cuts? From classics to Pixar — it’s all fair game! This event starts at 7PM and there will be prizes for the winners.

• One Direction Trivia 🎤 | Snafu Brewing Company (North Charleston): Stay Up All Night and study your 1D History to win some awesome prizes at One Direction Trivia at Snafu starting at 6PM!

• Clayton Louis | Wine & Tapas Bar: Clayton is a singer/songwriter from Charleston, and he will be playing at Wine & Tapas from 7-10PM.

• Ryan Frankett | Top Dawg Tavern: Ryan is a high energy Alternative/Grunge/Pop Punk inspired musician. He will be playing on the patio from 8-11PM.

• Joal Rush | Montreux Bar and Grill: Joal uniquely blends influences of Folk/Pop/Rock & Soul, to create a style all his own. He will be playing on the front stage starting at 2PM.

• Bobcat | Montreux Bar and Grill: if you crave an authentic rock n roll experience, Bobcat is the act that brings the real deal to audiences everywhere. He will be playing on the patio starting at 6PM.

• Eddie Bush | Montreux Bar and Grill: Eddie is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who has been performing for 40+ years throughout the US. He will be playing on the main stage starting at 10PM.

Saturday, January 31st

• Grand Opening Celebration 🎉 | Five Guys Carnes Crossroads: Five Guys Goose Creek will host its official Grand Opening from 11AM-2PM, bringing music, prizes, and signature Five Guys favorites to Carnes Crossroads. Guests can enter to win Free Burgers or Free Fries for a Year with the purchase of any Five Guys burger, five people will win free burgers for a year, and five people will win free french fries for a year.

• Stuffie Sleepover 🧸 | Dorchester County Library (Ashley River Branch): drop off your stuffie or babydoll for a stuffie-only sleepover at the library! Bring your stuffie anytime on Saturday and then be sure to come back Sunday afternoon at 2PM to pick up your stuffie and see what they got up to overnight! This event is for children ages 6-11.

• The Midwinter Affair 🎩 | The Kersey House: The Midwinter Affair is Keys to Change’s annual gala — an evening of purpose, connection, and profound change. Tickets are $125, which include unlimited sips from the open bar, a generous spread of heavy appetizers, and all the excitement this signature event has to offer. The event will run from 6-10PM.

• Orion Auditions 🎬 | Flowertown Players Theatre: Orion is a heartfelt, funny, and deeply human story about letting go, growing up, and finding your place in the universe—even when it feels like everything’s falling apart. All races, ethnicities, and genders are encouraged to audition. Please prepare one of the audition monologues provided on the audition page of the website. Monologues will also be available at the audition. Auditions will run from 6-10PM.

• Sippin' Choppin' Southern Shopping 🪓 | Tractor Supply (Dorchester Rd): this event by Southern Hatchets will feature food trucks, coffee, and lots of local vendors from 11AM-3PM.

• Live Music: Kyle Herring 🎸 | Montreux Bar and Grill: with his smooth and soulful tones and vocal flexibility, Kyle has created music that listeners everywhere can feel. He will be playing on the patio starting at 4PM.

“Oh Michelin.... He tries so hard to play it cool but he cannot contain his excitement around friends. 🤣 This 3 year old boy is full of personality! He gets the zoomies big time in playgroups then is promptly ready for a nap right after. Best of both worlds! Michelin seem to tire easily and will curl right up and be the little spoon. Michelin does not love spending his days in his kennel, it's stressful for him when he’s destined to be a couch companion. If you come into the shelter, please ask to meet this sweet boy! To help with his stress, we have him in a quieter spot. ❤”
