Restaurant Spotlight

If you’re looking for something a little different than your standard pizza night, there’s a new spot in Summerville that’s worth a visit. Tucked inside Godwin’s Beer Hall on E 3rd N St, Global Pizza is bringing bold, creative flavors to a familiar favorite — and it’s already getting people talking.

What makes Global Pizza stand out is exactly what the name suggests. This isn’t just pepperoni and cheese (although you can absolutely get those classics). The menu leans into international inspiration, with pies like Greek Gyro, Thai Curry Chicken, and Mexican Street Taco — the kind of combinations that make you curious enough to order something outside your comfort zone.

The concept works especially well because of the setting. Being located inside a beer hall means the experience feels relaxed and social from the moment you walk in. You order food alongside your drinks, grab a table, and settle in — whether you’re meeting friends, bringing the family, or just looking for an easy weeknight dinner that feels a little more fun than takeout.

Beyond pizza, the menu also includes crowd-pleasers like loaded nachos, chicken tenders, hot dogs, and appetizers such as Kung Pao shrimp, which makes it an easy choice even for groups with picky eaters.

Next time you’re in the mood for pizza, make sure to give Global Pizza a try!

From Dorchester Paws:

“Feet in the air, I just don't care! Allow us to introduce our sweet 5 year old boy Crusher. A little shy at first. But give him a minute and he’ll decide you’re his person. 🐾

Case in point: second photo. Crusher has entered his belly rub enthusiast era. He’s learned that humans aren’t so scary after all, especially the ones who come with chin scratches and pspsps voices. 💛 Come meet our quiet little loveboy.”
