• Garden Tea Party For Good 🫖 | Beyond Basic: the Leadership Dorchester Class of 2025 invites you to a Garden Tea Party for Good — an evening to grow Beyond Basic! Enjoy live music, tea-inspired refreshments, light bites, a silent auction, and a tour of Beyond Basic’s incredible space. This event will run from 5:30-8:30PM and tickets are $25.

• Harvest Painted Wine Glass 🎃 | Wine and Tapas: this workshop will guide you through the process of painting beautiful fall harvest wine glasses, featuring pumpkins, sunflowers, and warm seasonal vibes. This event starts at 6:30PM and tickets are $40, which includes all necessary supplies and instruction.

• College Football Trivia 🏈 | Charleston Sports Pub (Goose Creek): go up against other sports fans and see if your team has what it takes to take home some house cash for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in this month's theme trivia night: College Football. Trivia will start at 7PM.

• Signature Concert Series 🎶 | The Blake at Carnes Crossroads: this event is intended for seniors interested in learning about all that The Blake Senior Living Community has to offer. This event starts at 3PM and will feature live entertainment and light refreshments.

• August Rolling Bike Night 🏍 | Trolley Pub: Riders Law Group and American Biker invite all new and seasoned riders (and non riders too) to join us for their monthly rolling bike night event! • “Barber Shop Talk” Men’s Support Group 💈 | North Creek Village: this is a support community for husbands/men in relationships to come together to discuss life issues and learn from one another! This event will run from 6-7:30PM.

• Red Truck Session with Ryan Smith 🎸 | Sapphire’s (Goose Creek): don't miss an evening of live music and some great food and drink specials to make the kickoff to the long weekend even better! This event runs from 6-9PM.

• DC Comics Trivia Night 🦸‍♂️ | High Score Brewing (North Charleston): think you know your Batman from your Blue Beetle? Your Flash from your Firestorm? Suit up and prove it at DC Comics Trivia Night with Trivia Time Charleston! Trivia will start at 7PM.

Friday, August 29th

• Código 1530 Tequila Tasting 🥃 | Wine and Tapas: while most tequila is aged in American whiskey barrels, Código 1530 is aged in Napa Valley Cabernet French White Oak wine barrels. This difference allows them to embrace the clean elegance of winemaking and produce a uniquely delicate finish. This event starts at 6PM and tickets are $30, which includes a tasting and information session on 4 different types of tequila.

• 5th Wall Comeback Season Announcement Party 🎉 | Old Trolley Theatre: celebrate 5th Wall's return from hiatus at their new home at The Old Trolley Theatre. There will be refreshments & Hors d'ouvres, raffles, auctions, giveaways, entertainment, and a Season Announcement! This event starts at 7PM and general admission tickets are $26.50.

• Bonsai Workshop 🪴 | Soil and Soul Nursery Exotic Plant Shop: create and learn to care for a live bonsai. Take home a beautiful Juniper and impress your friends with your green thumb! This event starts at 10AM and tickets $46, which includes all materials, tree, and care instructions.

• Joe Hoskins | Bolts and Brews Beer Garden: Joe is known for his soaring vocal stylings and spot on guitar work. He will be playing from 4:30-7:30PM, and will be joined by the Wrap & Bowl Factory food truck.

• TNT - Old Soul Duo | Montreux Bar and Grill: the TNT Duo plays all your rock, country, funk, and pop favorites. They will be playing on the patio starting at 6PM.

• Cat Strickland & Nine Lives Band | Montreux Bar and Grill: Cat Strickland & the Nine Lives Band play everything from classic rock to punk to pop. They will be playing on the main stage starting at 10PM.

• Jack Triebold | Top Dawg Tavern: Jack is a talented singer and guitarist who plays all of your favorites from pop/rock to country, club/dance covers to instrumental and classical. He will be playing on the patio from 8-11PM.

Saturday, August 30th

• Grand Opening 🎈 | YO’s Crafty Place: the grand opening of YO’s Crafty Place will feature food, prizes, make and takes, friends, fun, and more! This event will run from 11AM-3PM.

• Dog Dayz of Summer in Nexton Square 🦮 | Halls Chophouse: bring the whole family (pups included!) for an afternoon of fun from 11AM-2PM. There will be live music, complimentary hot dogs & soft drinks from Halls Chophouse of Nexton, and balloon art. Dorchester Paws will be onsite with adoptable dogs, and all adoption fees will be waived during this special event!

• Summerville Rockfest 2025 🤘 | Tiki Taco: Summerville Rockfest 2025 will feature 5 of the tightest, most professional Rock & Roll bands from the South Carolina music scene and words from their amazing sponsors: Community Music Collective, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Parents Partnership. This event runs from 5-10PM and tickets are $10.

• Axe Throwing 🪓 | Bolts and Brews Beer Garden: Southern Hatchets Mobile Axe Throwing will be at Bolts & Brews from 4-7PM. You can sign up in person or reserve your spot for $10 by clicking on the event title above.

• Morning Octane 🏎 | Jax Wax Summerville: get those rides ready and head on down to Jax Wax at 2885 West Fifth N Street in Summerville. All are welcome - Cars, Trucks, Bikes, New School & Old School. The event will run from 9AM-12PM, featuring a live DJ, product demos, and exclusive promotions.

• Labor Day Backyard Beach Bash 🏖 | DIG in the Park (North Charleston): from 3-7PM, this block party will feature: DJ SJ bringing the beats, food truck eats, beer tasting tents + specialty brews, photo ops for the ‘gram, a GIANT water slide, and local vendors!

• Live Music: Brandi Colt & Andrew Crawford Duo 🪕 | Montreux Bar and Grill: Andrew Crawford and Brandi Colt are a bluegrass duo based in South Carolina. They will be playing on the patio starting at 6PM.

Sunday, August 31st

• Make & Munch: Thumbprint Bookmark 👍 | Bolts and Brews Beer Garden: bring the kids for a fun and creative afternoon at Bolts & Brews! This month’s craft is a thumbprint bookmark—a perfect keepsake they’ll love to make and use. While the little ones get crafty, Snow Biz will be serving up delicious snow cones to keep everyone cool. This event starts at 2PM.

• Pre-Labor Day Patio Party 🎉 | Montreux Bar and Grill: starting at 4PM, they'll have an all day patio party on the patio with DJ Music from Earl Newell, DJ Four5, as well as face painting - free for all.

• Music Bingo Brunch 🎶 | Charleston Sports Pub (Goose Creek): study up on your favorite artists and songs and get rocking! Music Bingo at CSP is free to play and always fun to win. Bingo will start at 11:30AM.
