The #1 Roth Conversion Mistake That Costs Retirees

Most people missed the first Roth conversion window. History is offering a rare second chance — but not a long one.

With today's tax rates extended, IRA Millionaires have a brief stretch of historically low brackets left. When it closes, the math changes: higher rates, bigger required distributions, and fewer conversion opportunities each year you wait.

Craig Wear, CFP®, has spent 15+ years helping more than 3,000 families with $1M+ in IRAs plan Roth conversions — helping them avoid a projected $10B+ in lifetime taxes. His new book, Roth Conversion Reset, is the step-by-step playbook:

Lock in today's low rates
Avoid RMD surprises at 73
Protect your spouse from survivor taxes
Keep more for your heirs

The book is free — no credit card, no shipping. The full PDF lands in your inbox in minutes.

Restaurant Spotlight

Summerville has a new spot to grab a loaded hot dog! Dougie’s Dogs is a hot dog cart that just opened in town, serving up a menu of classic dogs alongside a few combinations you probably aren’t making at home.

The best part is they’ve kept the menu pretty straightforward. Every dog is $5, whether you want the basic Classic Dog with ketchup, mustard and relish or something with a little more going on.

The Slaw Dog keeps things Southern with mustard and coleslaw, while the Chili & Cheese Dog is exactly what you’d hope for: beef chili covered in nacho cheese.

Then things start getting interesting.

The Flamin’ Hot Dog comes topped with ketchup, nacho cheese and crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. It sounds slightly ridiculous, which is probably exactly why you want to try it.

There’s also a Jalapeño Popper Dog with jalapeño cream cheese and bacon bits, and The Cowboy Dog, loaded with nacho cheese, crispy onions and barbecue sauce.

And if none of those combinations do it for you, you can build your own version with toppings like sauerkraut, raw or fried onions, coleslaw, chili, nacho cheese, jalapeños, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and bacon bits. They’ve also got all the usual condiments, including spicy brown mustard and barbecue sauce.

They don’t have a set schedule yet, but they’ll be set up at 109 W Bradford Pointe Dr from 4-7PM this Sunday! Follow their instagram below to see where they’ll be in the future, and you can book them for your next event here.

Featured Felines of the Week: Star Wars and Star Trek 🐱

Meet Star Wars & Star Trek, the three-month-old brother and sister who are looking for their forever home!

From Dorchester Paws:

“They may see the world differently, but they see each other💗

Meet this dynamic duo: Star Wars- a 3 month old female, and Star Trek- a 3 month old male. These two are the sweetest little kittens who would LOVE to find a home together-- but it's not a requirement! While both kittens have limited vision due to medical issues with their eyes, they don't let that slow them down one bit. In fact, they rely on each other to help navigate their surroundings, making their bond extra special.

They're playful, affectionate, curious, and always ready for some love and attention. We would love to see them find the forever home they deserve💙

Could you be the one to give them their forever galaxy?

Come meet them at Dorchester Paws! All cats and kittens are currently $50🐾”
